Site profile

Enkeju-Enkorien .

While in Enkeju_Enkorien, it is almost a guarantee that you will spot a herd of elephants, this is good if you are a tourist but not so good if you have to walk for kilometres every day in search of water which you also share with the elephants amongst other animals. This was the reality of the residents on Enkeju whose main water sources were seasonal rivers or water pans. The school relied on the erratic rains for drinking water for the learners and teachers which was never sufficient.
