Since December 2023, the Isintin water system has been running, and counting. This live estimate grows every second the borehole pumps.

Isintin relied on a water pan that was unprotected and shared with livestock. During dry spells water was scarce leaving the community and the school exposed to severe water insecurity. Sanitation and hygiene access and practices were limited in both the school and community with less than 1% of the households having toilets.
