Rainwater was the only water source, but with inadequate storage, the school quickly ran out during dry seasons. Learners had to carry water from home or skip hygiene practices. Sanitation was poor, with old pit latrines and no handwashing or menstrual hygiene facilities, making the school unsafe for learners.
